Course Prerequisites

This Microsoft Word course assumes that you have a thorough understanding of the topics covered in Microsoft Word Course: Level 1 (Beginners). You should be familiar with the basic functions of a computer operating system. This includes navigating the environment using a mouse and keyboard, starting applications, copying and pasting objects, formatting text, creating folders, opening and saving files, familiarity with the accessing the Internet and use of common web browsers. If you do not have these skills, we recommend attending the Basic Computer Skills Course before attempting this course.

Bring Your Own Device Option

This course is also available to participants who are seeking a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) option for users of Windows or Mac devices. Participants are able to bring and use their own laptop provided that they have a recent version of the software installed on their device. BYOD course participants are required to contact us on 02 8262 6400 (Option 4) between 9AM to 5PM Monday to Friday to enrol in this course. This option may also be available for any classes currently marked as full.
