This French course will cover the following content:

Themes and Vocabulary
  • Current affairs.
  • Environmental issues.
  • French history.
  • French idioms.
Grammar and conjugation
  • Past tenses : passé composé, imparfait, plus-que-parfait.
  • Future tenses and conditional.
  • Pronouns : subject pronouns, object pronouns, relative pronouns, “tonique” pronouns.
  • Subjonctive mode.

Intended Audience

This French course is designed for those who already have a knowledge of French language and want to brush up their French conversation and grammar. Participants must be able to understand articles written in French such as this one 3,1 millions d’euros étaient cachés... dans des caisses de légumes and to carry a basic conversation in french. This french course is intended for participants at an intermediate level having reached level A2 in the CECR European framework (completed 160 – 200 hours). Those who are not at this level of French may be interested in our French Course: Level 4.

This French course is facilitated in full French immersion and taught by an experienced native-speaking French instructor. The teaching method is interactive and practical, giving students an opportunity to practice real-life situations in the classroom and acquire practical skills efficiently.

Course Prerequisites

This french course has no prerequisites however participants are required to be able to carry a basic conversation in French and be at the A2 level in the CECR European framework (completed 160 – 200 hours).
